I am finally starting on my dream of learning about textile design, I have been fascinated by fabric and textiles for years since learning to sew but I always wanted to see beyond a piece of cloth and to be able to translate that into art or something beautiful and unique.

I hope my studies with OCA will bring out my creative side and my love of nature, as well as being conscious of the environment and to represent the importance of recycling and repurposing as much as possible.

My other hobby of geocaching takes me outdoors to new places and to forests and places of interest and I get inspired by what I see as well as being challenged. When else would you decide to make a ladder from a few found items to enable you to ascend to a former army lookout post?
